Four Views of a War

Project Description

This is a benefit concert and symposium to raise awareness for ArtSynergy.

The program will include American composer, George Flynn Chair, Composition Department Depaul University, William Neil, internationally recognized composer, Kimo Williams, Vietnam Veteran and nationally recognized composer. All in dialogue with the most recognized Vietnamese composer, Dr. NyguenVan Nam, composer and Master of Composition at the Ho Chi Minh Conservatory of Music in Vietnam. Each composer will converse and present their work and relate it to their views on the Vietnam War.


The theme of the concert and the symposium is The War and Its Impact on the Composer.

Dr. Nam also will do visit to elementary, high school and college schools in Chicago.
